Ever wanted to quickly convert an MP3 file to a wave file? It's a snap with AudioCD MP3 Studio 2000.
Just select the file you want to convert in your playlist window and choose Convert to Wave in the Edit menu.
This function is also available in the pop-up menu displayed when right-click on a track title:
This displays the Convert to Wave dialog box:
The MP3 Source File: field shows the selected MP3 file you are converting. The WAVE Output File: field displays the default name and directory for the converted wave file. If you want you can change the file name and path of the output file by clicking on the button, which opens the standard Windows Save As dialog box.
After choosing the output filename just click on the Start button to convert the file. Conversion progress is shown in the bar at the bottom of the dialog box.
If the WAV compressed option is selected in Options - Settings - Track Directory - Save As the wave file will be saved in 1:4 compressed format, which takes up just 1/4 of the normal space. If the WAV uncompressed option is selected the output file will be saved as a normal, full-sized wave file.
